Default Painting Information

Hi I am looking to get my whole car painted and wanted a clean job done on my 1998 Acrua Integra GSR. I will be getting my door moldings removed and welded. My question is how many coats of paints and clear coat should the painter use. I am looking to spend under $1750.00 and need some help
Thanks Guys

3 coats primer
2 coats paint,
2 coats clear.

pray it will cost less than 2000... other than a reshoot.

I don't mind paying that if they do a freaking good job. Unlike the morons who painted my body kit

It shouldn't take anymore than that, but they usually charge you by how many hours it takes each panel, etc. and they go by a set amount of hours. So basically the estimater shouldn't charge you anymore than he estimates it for...if they screw up it should be on them, not you.
