How much for a k20 swap?
Search man. This has been covered a million times before.
Doing the work yourself, 6-7 grand.
You pay for labor for someone else to do it, upwards of maybe 8-10.

Ya be nice people. at least he admitted he was a newb therefore, we can let it go that he hadnt used the search feature.
But to let u know there are a LOT of K's we can swap
k20a3 160hp
k20a2 200hp
k20a 220hp
k24a1/3/4 = 160hp ( lots of torque)
k24a2 = 200hp ( lots of torque)
All are possible, but k24 trannys WONT work.
The cheapest are the K20a3/K24a1/3/4.
Hmotorsonline has a k24a1 longblock for $1000, which is a damn good deal. Find a cheap K20 tranny and uve got a good start.
You can also find k20a3's for DIRT cheap, people are seeming them for as little as $1000. They are by no means the top engine, but they are TUNS better than our d17's.
You will also need Kpro, ( expensive) and Hasport mounts ( also expesnive) as well as a Subframe, and other Misc items.
IMO its best if u do the swap urself, even tho it will be a bitch if its ur first time. But then u will know what is wrong, or at least where to start looking if something goes wrong. Plus u save 2-3 grand on labour.
use the search if u need any more info.
