B18 head on a SOHC D16z6

I've read in a Honda/Acura performance book that you can put either a B16 or B18 head on a SOHC D16z6 or a SOHC D16y8. it said it would cost around $900 for the swap. I've never heard of it and was wondering if anybody has done it or has seen it. If so, how hard is it and what the specs on it? Thanks!

No this is not possible.
The base block is a d-series...the head is b-series and will not mate up

Don't read those honda/acura performance books, only wallet tuners write that ****

That's not true at all either. H-series DOHC heads bolt up to F-series bottom ends with no trouble at all. Thanks for posting misinformation though

You can get a dohc trans on a sohc...soo..not totally impossible.
