Default 93 LS swap into 90 HF

Hey guys, first off, I have to admit this being my first time on the CRX board, I'm always on the FI board b/c of my turbo teg, but I ran across a motor for my REX at a good price (free) so I need to know what all I need to complete the swap.. The donor car was a 93 LS, I have the complete car, it was wrecked, so the harness, axles and hubs are at my use.. Just from looking at it, I noticed that the engine plugs are different but the motor mounts are in identical places... PLEASE any info is appreciated as the heart transplant begins tmr!!

thanks
Aaron

you need an si engine harness (possible that the hf will work) hcp mounts for b series, adjustable shift linkage. 90-93 teg axles and intermediate shaft. are the teg engine plugs grey or pissy colored?

the mounts are not the same....like TorteX said you need mount kit for a b-series into a EF...go with HCP or HASport

the Integra plugs are grey, but they are not like the one's on my 96 Teg.. If i have the complete harness, could I just swap it all over to the CRX? The motor mount kit, does that replace all three?? Isn't there a certain year LS motor that dropped right in? Lastly, will the teg axles fit on the CRX's hubs or how do i go about that part?? thanks for all the info guys..

unless you want to convert to obd1 you will also need a 90-91 LS ecu.just thought i would add that one.i think you have to swap hubs also but i am not sure because i think the HF hubs dont have enough splines.and about the certain year teg just dropping in i dont think there is one that will fit like that in a 4th gen.maybe?

Upgrade your brakes too You'll probably warp those HF brakes on the first day lol. To answer your question before 88-91 B series swap you need a mount kit 92-whatever the year is I believe is a direct drop. Good luck.

Brandon, so you're saying that the 93 motor is going to be a direct drop in? Previous replies say that i'll be needing mounts.. can someone pls give a definite answer.. thanks again

You have to get a mount kit.

Parts you're going to need for sure:

* B Series mount kit: HASport, HCP, Place Racing, Etc.
* HASport or HCP Shift linkage or shorten the one from the Integra to fit
* Knuckles and hubs from the Integra
* Replace the Integra motor harness with your HF harness

If you don't want to convert everything to OBDI (grey plugs) you'll also need:

* 90-91 Integra LS ECU
* 90-91 Integra LS Distributor
* 90-91 Integra LS or 88-91 Civic/CRX Si Fuel injectors

Oops guess I wasnt too clear on what I said, I was referring to the chasis year not the engine year.
