engine mounts and engine placement
I thought this may be a good topic to lock in..
i and several of us im sure used the stock engine mounts to install b16a's or gsr's.. from my experience and inspection once my car was on a rack.. i noticed that the wheel placement looks almost 3/4's to a full inch back.. it is functional and doesnt bind too bad unless i pull a hard left.. then i have to get out and pop my passenger axel back in.. you dont really know its out till you smell trans fluid burning.. i use lucas in my gear box.. but when i got my car it was lowered.. once i put in my swap it went even lower..i was wondering if any of you had issues with binding or if any of you had the same exact issue im having..
to fix it.. im going to go ahead and order the hasport mounts, sportlines, new axels and trans seal then new kyb shocks to bring it up a little.. around a qtr to half inch.. i run 15' rotas and live in pothole greene county pa so being up off the ground a lil is a definate must..
please post any issues and how you fixed it.. i really would like to see what you all have done.. who knows..maybe some of you have had no issues at all..
thanks fellas
brian
