100.5MPH Quarter-mile trap speed. What et's should I be seeing ??
My 2001 ITR is putting down 206whp. It is NA with a JUN3 head package and a bunch of bolt-ons. On my G-tech, I am getting runs of 100-101mph. What kind of et's should I be getting ??
That's what I was thinking .. Maybe I just need to work on my launch. I know the car is 13-sec capable because my mechanic raced it against a 13.5sec Si and the ITR pulled on the Si by about a length.
I guess I need to work on the part that goes behind the steering wheel

traps sound about right.. you will lose mph once you get some slicks on it.. but you should be able to get into the mid 13's pending on track prep and elevation
1. It's GTECH which actually reads HIGHER trap speeds.
2. If it's correct your trap speed is WAAAAY low for that much whp.
3. Go to a real track.

Unless he was at the track.... time to find a new mechanic.

My old setup was doing 13.8s all day on 2.2 60 ft times using shitty street tires.

wow....if that things right (and it usually reads hi) then your trap is hella slow for that whp. At 189whp I trapped 102.4 at a actual track
at 206 you should be hitting at least that and running about a 13.4-5 1/4 mile with great driving.

Yea well..i trapped 98mph with my shitty *** gsr in a civic that was burning oil like a **** untuned only running 15.6 with a 2.5 60'. So i guess the trap speed cant be a good indicator of ur 1/4mile times.

...Yes it can.
You just cannot drive AT ALL.
2.5 sixty-foot, huh? Leave off the throttle, my man.

well i meant not always....but hmm thanks for ur input...OH this was my first pass down the track EVER..first time at the track EVER..Oh and did i mention my car with system, full interior, full tank of gas and me weighed 2715... Running some toyo proxes tpt (all season)at 35psi....Oh and it was untuned.. so..a 25hp difference might help my time a little dont u think?
All I did was say you couldn't drive.
It was your first try, good for you.
Trapping 98mph, you can do alot better than 15.6. Learn to drive your car, and you'll be good to go.

I think it's hard to say what your ET's will be based on your MPH. I think you should be in the upper 13's. If you can actually launch well you will see your MPH drop a little. If you suck at launching and have lots of spin you'll probably see your MPH increase.
Get your 60's below 2.2 and you should see 13's easy.
