Video/ TV does not do the corkscrew justice at all. They say equivalent drop of 2-3 stories, but in the vid it just looks like another turn....

I always wanted to see the track after turn 5 and up to corkscrew.

F1 cars will always be faster than bikes. Sick video though.

cars will always be faster, nothing can make up for their cornering advantage.

It was Ricardo Zonta. It was during the Rolex Historic race. He broke his own record. Before that it was Helio Castorneves in a Champ Car from 2000.

He said he thinks he could have gone quicker, but some spots were slippery from older cars leaking oil. Go figure.

makes me think that if F1 ever ran a race there, race laps would be close to 1 min, qualifying times possibly under a minute.

i was referring to the record before that weekend

he set 3 hot laps faster than the kart, i merely meant that the kart was the next fastest driver/vehicle around the track

Hmm. Actually he broke his own record from last years event. Before that it was held by Helio Castorneves in a Champ Car in 2000. Maybe I'm confusing whay you're saying.
