Well in my earlier post, my 4th gear was feeling choppy going in and out;also it would not go in sometimes or it would get stuck in the the slot. Now there seems to be no 4th gear slot at all--won't go in ever--it feels like a wall is just there now!
I've tried to change the tranny fluid w/ Honda MTF and even flushed my fluid in the master/slave cylinder--nothing. I also checked to see if anything is bent or missing on the shift linkage (exterior)--nothing.
Any ideas anyone?

 

maybe a bad shift fork, or the teeth are so worn down, that it wont let the gear in

 

So how can I know for sure? If I just pull the tranny apart from the motor will I be able to see the bad shift fork or worn teeth or do I also have to open up the entire transmission? Thanks for any replies.
