what does the underhood sticker say?
FYI the Honda parts catalog [hondanet] doesn't list anything by "GEN"
year make and model is the requirements.

For my 5th Gen everyone told me to go with Honda parts. I went with stock NGK plugs and they seem to work well.

i found out that honda uses and recomends NGK double platniums for the V6. but those are about $14 each, but the NGK ix iridiums are only about $9 each. as far as im concerned iridium is a better metal for plugs and should perform better. has anyone noticed a diference in running the iridums vs the platnium plug?

is your accord a L4 or V6? so has the weird idle and bad mileage been proven to be a problem with the iridium plugs? any reason why iridium would cause that?
