***ep3 gas mileage: whats your mpg???***
like the title says, how many miles are you ep owners getting to a full tank of gas? i just bought my ep a few weeks ago, and my best mpg on ''trip A'' was 219, and that is mostly highway driving, without punching it . i tried it out for the week, to see what my best mileage would be, and thats what i came up with!
so whats your mpg?????
so whats your mpg?????
oh man.. Are you kidding me??? That's horrible.
Well I don't own an EP3, but try buying Lucas Fuel Injector Cleaner crap at an autostore for about 9-10 dollars and put about 3-4oz in the tank every fill up. See if that would work out. It's suppose to clean and give you a little better fuel mileage
I believe it's about a 20+oz (or 30oz) or something bottle.

I get 250-260 miles on ~11 gallons doing about 75% freeway. The gearing on this car is pretty short and gas mileage suffers. I cruise on the freeway at 80 mph at 4k rpm so my freeway mileage goes to ****. Around the city, try to cruise around in higher gears to keep the rpms down. When I first got this car, I would never shift to 5th unless I was going faster then 50 mph and got about 220 to the tank also.

depends on how you drive your car. i tried taking Angeles Crest on a full tank for at least 4 months.im hittin 285-290 miles. thats from Palmdale to Glendale. Right now im taking the 14 Freeway im hitting 325 miles full tank good for 3 days.
in the morning i go about 65-70 depending on traffic, and coming home is about 40, because of more traffic in the evenings. the car only sees street use about 1/4 of the time its driven, and i dont like to drive at wot everywhere... also my car has very little modifications; only apex wsII and aem v2

i dont know what tank you have on your car but the most i have ever been able to put in is a little over twelve gallons with the light being on for about 30 miles. everywhere i looked says the ep holds 13.2 gallons.
And Ep's do not require premeium
I get about 320 miles per tank with cold air, shorty header and greddy evo2

I have also noticed that my EP3 is really dependent on what kinda of gas i put in there as well. I put in some ethanol stuff one time because my old honda ran better on it and got only about 20 MPG and switched to regular gas and got in the 30-35 range. U guys getting only like 200 miles on a tank should maybe try looking at different gas could be ur problem.

I do also shop around for gas. Shell gas is the best in my area. I know there really id no way to tell but I seem to get better MPG with shell. I do though go where ever it is cheapest, but if they are all around the same price I hit up shell!
