My friends 95 integra recently started having problems
Symptoms:
1) When I drove the car, I notice right away it was hard changing gears. Stick has alot of play, but I would need to apply force to get into any gear.
2) Some clutch chatter? not sure but sometimes engaging in 1st gear i feel it jumping during engage point.
3) Doesn't happen all the time, but it happened once when i drove it to a red light, held the clutch down WHILE in 1st gear and the car acutally jump forward (for a split second).
4) Sometimes in neutral at a stop I hear some weird noises (not like the normal continous bearing sprinning noise). Sounds more clunky.

I suggest to him replace clutch oil, and tranny oil 1st.

Any friend said he had problems getting into gear on his 240x and it needed a new slave cylinder.

Any insight?
BTW clutch doesn't feel worn.

Sounds like the clutch, but i would get the tranny checked out just to be on the safe side..
