I'm wondering if something is wrong with the actual climate controls. AC pressure is there. Compressor and condensor fan does not even attempt to come on sometimes. Seems like there is a loose connection somewhere. When AC comes on, it is very cold. Low side pressure is right where it needs to be when the compressor does cycle.

Any ideas? Is there a cold solder joint problem on Civics like there is on the Preludes??

yes very possible... will probably get worse over time also... even longer times to kick in in winter wen u have to use it to do that cold defrosting thing.. do u get me?

Fuse is fine. AC light comes on on my climate control but the compressor and condensor fan only turn on sometimes. When you say loosen the plug, what do you mean??? Do the solder joints need to be re flowed like on the Prelude climate controls???

Probably since it's common for joints to loosen due to normal wear...
or maybe a loosen wire which isnt making contact
