Where are you getting the 4400 watts from? Your stock alternator? That's 400 amps. And then there's the JBL amp, which is probably another 50 amps, and then the car's electrical system, probably another 50. So altogether, that's 500 amps. I'd like to see that kind of power draw in person.

I concur.

I think you should learn something about wattage and power supply.

you should. look at the setting i have it on, in the indash i have the bass setting ALL the way down to -7, n on top of that i have the bass remote on the amp ALL the way down to get the less bass possible, and still the bass is SOO loud that the whole car shakes a shitload n bro you feel your skin moving with the bass. n the sec i put the bass just a little higher on the bass remote of the amp, it makes it 3x louder n my back window is moving back n forth so much that it looks like its gonna break, and i was sayin that the amp n subs hit for that much, i know im not getting its full potential, 1. im in a sedan, not a suv (enclosed space vs not enclosed = BIG difference), 2. if i even try to turn the bass on ill prob kill my batt or altinator in a min or less., so yea, i know the subs do hit that loud but never said thats what im getting. but i DO believe im getting a shitloud of bass n that these subs n amp r amazing.
hell yea.

oh yea n the magnets on the subs r HUGE, only like 3 inches of the box is hanging out is because its sitting where the old spare tire used to be, and b4 i get any comments like "damn ur dumbd for taking out your spare tire, im not because i still have it in the car, n the spare i got is about the same size as my 18's because the damn spare tire that honda brought were 6" smaller so wouldnt able to use that anyways w/ my drop n rims.

That means absolutely nothing in relations to your power claims....
You seriously need to do some reading on audio principles and theory...

Agreed, to the OP: your install is pretty clean for an off the shelf setup, but you obviously have no idea what you are talking about, as long as you think iTz MaDd TiGHt y0!

from audiobahns website those subs onlyu handle 1100 each not 2200(subs dont put out watts by the way, thats what your amp does)your amp only does 2400 watts at 1 ohm, not 4800, but thats not all the time, especially on music, most times its probably like1/3 of that or less, also that just looks like a prefab box to me, not anything thats built into your sparetire well, and if it is, and you do have the spare tire somewhere else, i bet you look cool hauling around a big wheel in your pass seat.
ohh yeah your subs big magnet, since when is 120 oz magnet big, my subs have 300 oz magnets, and your only have a 7" mounting depth, so what were saying again abot your box, the magnets are so big you had to build down into the spare tire well, i doubt it, thinking of yor subs one more time they only come in dual 6 ohm vc's, so the best load you can get is 1.5, meaning your amp is def putting out less than you think again.
not trying to bash here, just stating the correct facts

are you saying your magnets are out of the box?
and uhh still i don't believe that your taking anything near even 1000 watts.
Because if you installed just a cap, and your headlights aren't dimming "anymore" then you're probably pulling around 500-600 watts RMS.

Alright I know that I am going to come off as an ******* but oh well..... To the OP sorry bro but your system has some cheap equipment. Your Jensen HU and Audiobahn subs and amps are crap IMHO. But the install makes up for the equipment for the most part I guess.
Dude if your whole car shakes with the bass down on everything that kind of sucks. I turn my subs up everyonce in a while but most of the time I enjoy nice tight bass that isn't loud at all. If it made my car shake all the time I'd get rid of that asap. Although I guess it's all in what you like although I agree with everyone else. I seriously doubt your amp is putting out that much power.
alot of you guys dont know what your talking about. 500 amps in the whole car? whats that mean? if thats true, 500 amps at 12 volts is 6000 watts.
that just shows how some of you think.
a car can easily push 1000 watts, ive done it with out a cap, 1100 to be precise.
anyways, i think its a nice system, i had 15s before, it was the loudest **** ive ever had. not everyone is about racing boys
