Default oem d16z6 valves, different part numbers/prices?

i've looked on slhonda and hondaautomotive parts trying to find oem replacement valves for my d16z6 which decided to jump a few teeth and bend some or all of the valves. i see two different part numbers for each:

exhaust is 14721-p08 or p2a
intake is 14711-p08 or p2a

the prices for p08 vs p2a vary substantially - what is the difference?

i'm just trying to fix the head and make it all work again - motor is 100% stock and is staying that way, this is my beater. i'm trying to stay oem, but may go to a cheaper aftermarket valve if the higher priced ones (p08) are the ones i need.

thanks in advance.

Give HondaAuto...Parts a call. They were pretty helpful when I was trying to figure out the correct bearings to order.

When there are 2 PN's usually it's just to inform the dealer there was a part number change... so EITHER part number will work...

With valves it's POSSIBLE that one are oversized for damaged valve seats where they someone needed to cut out some material from the valve seat.

More than likely it's that there are 2 part numbers and both work but call to be sure.

while it's possible that the parts are the same, the prices are so different i can't believe that they're for the same part.

exhaust valve p08 - $27.40
exhaust valve p2a - $8.75

too good to be true, right?

When I checked for my car year model with a z6 on hondaautomotive I got only one part number for the ex. valve...

http://www.hondaautomotivepart...EX%29

102651 008 8 VALVE, EX. NO COLOR 24.71

*EDIT*

IMO just get a new head off ebay or the classifieds. You can find one for like 10-100 bucks if you look around
