this will sound stupid as hell but its for a friend and i honestly don't know the answer to give him. He's got an eg hatch with 2 sets of front coilovers but no rears. is there anyway he could use a set from the front and use them as the rears so he could drop his car? Would it ride liek *** or what if it does fit?thanks

 

Are we talking about full coilovers, or slip on coilovers?

If they are full coilovers they won't work, atleast not in tegs beacuse the front shocks mount differently than the rears. Front shocks are attached a shock fork, where the rears attach to the lca.

As far as the ride quality, it will depend on the spring rates, drop, and shock rebound.

Try asking in the suspension forum. Also try contacting the manufactures of the coilovers and asking them.
