i bought dry ice to take tar off my car...need help!
i bought 12lbs of dryice today from a local ice store.
For those who have used dry ice to remove the tar in the trunk and under the seats........can you explain to me how to do it? I put the dryice on the tar for a minute and tried to take it off with a screw driver, but it didnt work. Is there a secret way of doing it?

Where is the drunk at in your car? They had better not be behind the wheel.
It takes a lot of work, and a lot of patience to remove the tar strips.

what you do is break it into smaller pieces, and put it over the tar, let it sit for 15 to 20 mins. while doing that find a scrapper, like sharp 1 and start scrapping it
here is the link that can help you out, maybe searching it next time will help you out alot https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=525936

no, because is too small take forever, use something that wide and strong so you wont break it, but is not that hard, once you put on the dry ice, you will hear popping noise, and you can actually take it out with your hand, but just some part you need to use something to take it out, cause dry ice is not going to do all of them

Dry ice doesn't melt, it goes through sublimation.
How much weight does this remove?

yea it doesnt melt, but what the term for saying it disappear? dissolve? iono
but thinking 15lb all together, it just make your car look cleaner if you doesnt have the tar.

Going from a solid to a vapor is called sublimation.
15lbs, eh? They must slather it with a lot of tar for it to weigh that much.

They are pretty liberal with it, but it is there to also lower road noise so it really isn't a bad sacrifice.

that will not work, only method that i know of is dry ice, using wd40 will take off the paint, but it will not take out the tar
what is? dry ice? um i doubt it, i use about 14lb of it and all it did was sublimation didnt really do anything harm to me
