Default bad day at the track

it was my first time at the track and my nerves got to me

60' 2.44
1/4 14.88
mph 96.7

what is my car capable of doing with that trap speed at the hands of a experienced driver?

jdm itr, intake, 2.5 custom straight flow exhaust, bone stock eg hatch chassis, street tires

oh btw, will suspension and open header decrease my time by a good amount?

a 96mph trap, should be close to mid to low 14's. Definitely work on your 60'. If u can cut that down to a 2.2 or so, you'd be hitting a 14.4 (that's if u use the rule of thumb of .1 off 60' = .2 off et)

will open header hurt or benefit a stock jdm itr with only intake?

suspension will help, but running thhe exhaust open or closed has shown me no noticable results in a very similar car that my cousin runs. 97ish mph should get you low14s, even possible high 13s with a good launch on those tires. with some slicks, you're looking probably 13.6ish.
