I have a set of wheels that i need to sell. One of them is cracked but fixable and was wondering if its OK to sell wheels that are cracked. Is there anything saying that I cant.. When I do.. ill state in bold that it is and take a picture, but i was wondering if there are any leagal issues...

btw if neone wants them. they are 18 inch axis touring cups. brand new toyo proxes tires. less then 1000 miles on them. wheels were refinished and are silver in color. best offer takes them. nothing lower than 5 though. cuz thats about the value of the tires at least if i sell them with or a part

 

just make sure to state something along the lines of; wheels come as is, and as is are not road safe. it is the buyers responsibility to make the proper corrections if he or she chooses to do so, however the seller bares no responsibility for serious injury or death resulting from the non or improper rapair of these wheels.

is it legally sound? no.

could you still get sued? yes. but that is because civilly anyone can sue for anything they want, doesnt mean they will win.

long story short, there is nothing more you can do than make it very clear that the wheels have been damaged and therefore are most likely unsafe as is, and you bare no responsibility after repairs have been made.

i wouldnt be too worried about it though
