Is the 91 Accord Ex Auto engine going to share the same components as a 95 Accord EX?

Aren't they different somehow?

I always see parts for accords split up from 90-93 and 94-97. Why?

 

They have different variants of the F22 -- f22ax (90-93) vs f22bx (94-97). The "x" is determind by the trim level, such as f22b1 in the 94-97 EX.

Intakes and exhausts are year specific, because of the shape of the body and engine bay. I'm not sure what parts would truly be interchangable. I believe intakes are. Headers are not interchangable because the exhaust ports are spaced differently.

What about the throttle body? Will it be the same?

Injector and fuel rail will be the same right? Since they are both ODB1

What about the harness? Will they be the same?

 

the throttle body is different the bolt pattern is smaller on the 90-93 than the 94-97 accords if you stick with the 90-93 accord intake mani you can keep the same harness if you decide to go with the 94-94 intake mani you and will need to make small mods on it and the vacume lines as well

 

oh ya you can keep the fuel rail and injectors also

 

the intake manifold port patterns are different. the wiring harness will be different. f22a and f22b are quite different beasts.
