Code 12 on ECU
I hope someone can point me in the right direction:
I have a 1994 prelude Si (H23A1). It recently started flashing the check engine light and when I read the code it was a "code 12, EGR Lift Sensor (Exhaust Gas Recirculation)
defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor.
Now what do I do? is this something that is as easy as replacing a part?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.......................Hec

Thanks for the reply; but how do I know which component is bad? there seems to be 3 components to the EGR system. 1) on the manifold 2) on the driver's side engine compartment(a little plastic canister with vacuum lines). 3) some sort of solonoid with a filter for a cap on it.
Is there a way to check to see which is bad?
Thanks again..............Hec
