Any guesses to wut power i will make!?
ok, so i am rebuilding my motor, jsut waiting for the head to come back from PortFlow. this is the setup.
GSR motor
Supertech Stainless Valves
Supertech Dual Valve Springs
Supertech TI retainers
Type R cams
Portflow Valve Job
Port Matched
Skunk2 Intake Mani
Stock intake and Exaust.
When my head comes back im taking it to get tuned professionally.
Any ideas? thanks for feedback guys.

.....To be honest there is more involved to know what kind of power you will make exactly...I'm going to tell you what you dont want to hear but its the truth...170-140 whp...like that window of error?? Its pointless to ask really

stock gsr is in the 140 whp range...type r is in the 160-165 ish range...there is really no telling what youll make...you see 170 and have high hopes, but dont feel disappointed if you dont break 160 cause too many variables involved

haha i have headwork and cams in my b18c and i roll with stock exhaust as well...lol no real reason just annoyed by aftermarket NA exhaust notes

with a stock gsr bottom end...your car will probably make around 175-185 whp after its fully tuned. (my guestimation...)
i highly doubt he will see 180 whp on type r cams...the type r with higher cr pistons and the SAME cams wont make that...i dont see any reason for a lower compression engine to better utilize those cams to make more power
hes basically going to have a type r head on a gsr bottom end (R cams, slight port job, springs and retainers)...no reason he would make more power then a type r head with a type r bottom end

i am going to have stock intake because i had a AEM for a GSR but it didnt fit + i want it to look completely stock, i have taken out all the resonators and piping for the intake so its straight Stock intake. the exauhst. i have a DC Ceramic Header for GSR but it doesnt fit my DA chassis. its way different as far as the rest of the exhaust goes. I am going ot buy a new exhaust im just waiting till i get more money, just dropped 1500 on my rebuild
.... plus the 2.5 G's for the GSR swap in the first place that i did like 2 months ago
