Need help on lowing my car?
Hi, I am new to this form. I need help, I have 95 accord coup ex and I brought the h&r spring back in 2001 is the 51852.88 model. I put it on my car for about 1 years with the stock shock and take it off, later I have to change my rear shock. Now I want to put back that H&R springs. Can you guy recommend what new shocks for my h&R springs.

what's your budget?
the cheapest shock i'd recommend are the KYB AGX. The tokico illuminas are a little more, and the koni yellows are the best. The konis are worth the money, the toki's are better than the kyb's.
I don't suggest the toki blues or any of the cheapest OEM replacement shocks, because they're OEM replacement shocks. the 3 i mentioned are your best bet.
i have no opinion on the bilstein sports, because i've never driven/ridden in a car with them.

My budget is around 350-400 with the installion and want the shock to last 3 to 5 years. My 95 accord has 232k miles on it and don't know how long it will last. thank you.

install em yourself, it's pretty easy, and you'll save yourself some money.
i'd go with the kyb's.

i bought my KYBs off of ebay a while ago....maybe there is a honda-tech sponsor or member selling a set for you car ? i'm sure you can find them from other online sellers as well
Tokico Illuminas would be a good way to go, I have neuspeed race springs (same as H&R) and illuminas on my CL. Just be prepared for a substantial drop, the CL is the same as the Accord and I got a 3.5" drop with my susp. setup. The ride quality is pretty good if you set the shocks right though.
I don't want it to drop so low, just want it to look good and comfortable ride, right now my shock/strut are real bouncing when it hit something. What do you guy think of this ebay seller he have it shipped $272 for set of 4 kyb agx but other online sale for more like $370 and up. here is the link http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISA...h=010
Hi guy, thank for your suggestion, I did go with kyb agx and my old h&r race spring. installed yesterday (9/9/06) and I keep it at stock front #4 and rear #4 and the ride is pretty bumpy like it go up and down. Can you guys recommend what setting should I adjusted so the ride will be smoot when go over something. Thank you.
