Default In need of HELP with suspension!!!!

Hi guys i drive a 1998 CIVIC EX. the last few weeks i have found my car tends to shutter at or over the 60 MPH mark, i had another driver drive it for a bit as i eyed the suspension and for some reason the rear pas. side wheel tends to hop like it is on a washboard road as the others do not. I took it into honda last week and all they wanted to say with out charging was odds are it's your suspension.. ok i see that but what maybe wrong. The spring itself is very stuff = to that of the others, no parts are bent or cracked. i am in need of help on this one as i do not want to cause any long term probs with my civic or anything more expensive. but i need to know soon what needs to be changed.
prob. off the bat my guess was the wheel was out of balance but once inspected found otherwise.
Rear pas. side wheel hops at any speed.
car shakes at or over 60 MPH.
any help will be great!
Thanks guys.

Ok so if i was to change out the absorber that would do the trick? if so it looks like im running about $100.00 for an OEM (one). i cannot afford to change all four at this time .

I'm guessing so. Still, having a tech look at it would be a good idea first, before you order a new shock.
