I blew my B18c1 on the turnpike. It went in a blaze of glory. I put $8000 into that motor and cause of one bolt I split the block in half and cracked my head in half. This racing game is pricy. Oh well Sh*t happends. Now Im going K20a2. Thank god i had a spare K20 in my garage.

 

what bolt caused all this?? must have been in the bottom end

 

Stock bottom end. Buddy club 4 cams, CTR pistons, port flow springs and retainers, RC 310 injectors, Golden egle fuel rail, aem fuel press regulator, Abes intake manifold, 255 walbro intank fuel pump and tuned with AEM EMS. I made 212WHP and 145WTQ.

 

8 Gz for 212 whp? Ripoff!! What bolt was it, and how do you know it was that one bolt?

I call bullshit, A) I've seen blown motor after blown motor and the expletive if any of them are anywhere near "broken in half" B) $8k for a stock bottom end, some cams and an intake manifold.....thats like $2k of stuff (yes, even with your aem ems) C) To quote GSR In Progress, "Oh by the way, the Mustang dyno was under rated by 15% so we had to make the proper calculation," which means it really made 184whp and then he added 15% to make himself feel better. D) With the block and head both cracked in half (which is a hell of alot of metal to be cracked in half) you wouldnt be here to post this bs today, that kind of explosion would've taken out the fire wall and sent shrapnal so far up your *** you'd still be in the hospital.

If the motor really blew up that much, would you really be able to just swap in a new motor? You'd think it would have damaged the rest of the car

so i was driving my JDM RHD type R on street tune... 50 lbs of boost at 911whp and this enzo with NOZ pulled up to me and was like PURGE PURGE! well i smoked him of course with my crazy traction off these supersteel 595's but i blew the welds on my intake manifold with my hundred shot of nos so even though i won he laughed when he passed me. WTF... anyways what do you guys think? im not sad though i was going to swap in one of my extra v6 nsx-r motors into the trunk anyways that ih ave laying arounnd.

you would think if you did the pistons you would also upgrade the bottom end to handle that kind of abuse. to each his own
