I bought these to do a DIY short shifter but I cant use them cuz I used 4th gen parts for my manual conversion and the 4th gen shifter is different from a 5th gen shifter at the base and where the linkage attaches.

I can cut the shifter as short as you want with my angle grinder if desired, but you will have to get it welded back together at a muffler shop or jb weld it back together. I ended up hacking up my 4th gen shifter and a civic shifter and had them welded together... worked out great.
