96 OBD1 or OBD2 ?

Default 96 OBD1 or OBD2 ?

hi

i have a 96 JDM BB4 and i dont know if mar car is an OBD2 or OBD1

i know that EDM BB1 are OBD1 but i also heard and read that USDM 96 BB1 are OBD2

how can i check out if my BB4 is a OBD2 or an OBD1 ?

would an obd2 ecu p13 fit on a obd1 car without the converter harness ?

please help me i need to know

so OBD1 and OBD2 have two different harness ?

thanks that helps me a lot so i know now that my bb4 is a OBD1 car because it is possible to fit the EDM BB1 ecu that is OBD1

I have lude that is a 96model usdm and it is a obd2 i was hearing that 96 honda preludes are obd2...but someone correct me if im wrong...but anyways....im looking for foglights and head lights especially that ambers...so how much you willing to lets those go for...oh and i was wondering if you got any spare nose nose cuts...im will to nogotiate bout that...thanks..

In Europe, just as in japan, they years and such could run a little differently than here.

There is no such thing as a 96 BB4, in Japan the fifth gen body style started in 96, either way it is obd2.

my BB4 was first registrated on 6.th june 1996 its one from the last that come as standard with the SE wheels and Black seats with Red stripes and LSD tranny


but i still dont know if its OBD2
