Toda Spec A cams with OEM ITR camgears.
A guy that's buying my Spec A cams wants to run them on his ITR with OEM camgears for a while. Of course this isn't the best way to do it, but do you see any problems in doing so?
Also, will the Spec As make more power on oem camgears then the oem cams on stock camgears?
Thanks.

Put the VTEC at 5200-5300 and it WILL be smooth.
Stock isn't a smooth transition. 5200 w/ Spec A's is like butter.
He'll pick up 15hp after tuning... but I'm sure it'll still be faster than OEM ITR cams at 0 int, 0 exh.

I don't see any problems but the power band problem won't be as smooth as stock.

So oem itr camgears with spec A's will be fine then I take it.
I don't see how the powerband will be any rougher though. The power will probably be in different places, but he's mainly concerned if he'll have more total power or not with the As over the stock cams.
I think he has a apexi vtec controller, so x-over point will not be a problem.

I drop in my cams and made less hp than the stock cams with the settings at zero. So there is the possiblity that his will do the same.
20hp loss just dropping in Spec As
Huh? You didn't say that in your IM.
Maybe he meant from the potential hp
