need help with boost controller

Default need help with boost controller

i just put a manual boost controller on my single cam eg just to get me by untill i can afford a electronic one.my problem is that no matter how i set it the thing boost like crazy.it is jumping way above 15 psi and i have to let off the throttle before i break something.is there something that i need to do?i am lost.this 5 psi bs is getting old,lol i want to set it up for 10psi

how do you have it setup? what kind of boost controller?

And if you can hold off with the MBC i would.. Until you can afford the electronic boost controller that is 100% more accurate... I trust my apex avcr with my life!!!

But if you cant hold off than, what is your wastegate set at factory? how do you have your vacuums ran... Do you have much experience with boosted cars and are confident your setup is/was installed properly?
