H22a and type s pistons
ok so i have been reading up on about h22a motor.
i have a jdm h22a in my accord, well yeha look at my name. lol
so anyways i am hearing you can put a type s pistons inside of the h22a.
and if so will the power gain b as great. i rather go turbo but for this moment the money situation i am in is bad. IM BROKE ***! lol
so yeah. lmk.

if you plan on going forced induction in the future, do not use the type-s pistons. they aren't near as strong as aftermarket (as they have to be BEEFY to withstand any boost at that high compression). they have just way to much compression for a reliable forced induction system. if you plan on going the n/a route, type-s pistons are a great mod. i personally have them in my h22. if you do use them in a pre 97 h22, you will either need to buy 97+ connecting rods, or have new bushings pressed into the stock rods.
