2 amps 1 rca
so im kinda confused.. i ran my 2 front speakers to my 300 watt amp. and plugged in the rca cables to the back of the alpine deck. now i want to run my 1200 watt amp with my 12 inch kicker.. do you need to run rca from the 1200 watt amp to the deck too?? or what do i do?? im confused. cause i never powered up my speakers before until now . but now i want to amp the speakers and the subs the same time.. what is possible..??

Prolly more like one of these:
Plug one y connector into the right rca input on the back of your headunit and plug another one into the other, L, Rca input. Then you put the right channel RCA cables onto the right channel y connector and the left channel Rca's to the left channel Y connector. It really isn't that hard.

u know u also could have just used the pass-through, if ur amp has one...
or...
heads normally have a "special" preout for subs.... u should use that preout for your subs... and the other preout for the full-range...
If u only have one preout.. then the y-adapter idea or using the amp's passthrough would be a good idea...

The kicker amp has a pass through.
Which means connect the stereo to the kicker amplifier. Then run a set of RCA's from the kicker out to your second amp.

you prolly dont want to split your rcas. because in that case what ever way you set the bass and treble so on, it will affect both the fronts and the subs, get a stereo with multi rca leads. or make the single rca lead strictly for subs and get one of those boxes that create an rca signal from speaker wire and use that for your front amp.
