There are no words to describe how unsafe that is. Past the fact that there is no rollover protection, that isn't even a dedicated harness bar - it's a flimsy useless C-pillar brace, and a rather shitty one at that. It's not even rigid, it uses Heim joints and a flimsy bracket.

The best part is that he removed his stock seat belts and his airbag. So not only will that C-pillar brace bend/break in a moderate head-on (it's absolutely guaranteed if he has a passenger), but he won't have the bag as a backup. Apparently he doesn't like his teeth. Or his skull. Darwinism at its finest

Those are about the shittiest looking harnesses I've ever seen, too. And they're 4-points! Does it get any better? Maybe he wants to submarine under the lap belts and puke up his intestines at the same time as he is bashing his head off the steering wheel and windshield? Just extra mess for the emergency crews to clean up . . .

I wonder what his ricer excuse for not having a proper roll bar is . . . the need to carry passengers obviously won't work, because there is no rear seat . . . the need for cargo space won't work either because he has that pillar brace and a rear tower brace, and a roll bar is no more intrusive than those. I can load a 26" mountain bike into the back of a CRX with full interior and a welded GCR/CCR-compliant roll bar, so cargo space is no excuse.

I think the elipses in the subject line should be replaced so it reads

"Who needs a roll bar when you're too injured to drive?"

And if I bought a car like that, I would trailer it home and not drive it until it was safe.

You're getting pretty angry when people are pointing out a serious safety issue that you should take into consideration. The point is that with all the posts about this out there, this sort of thing should not still be going on en mass in the 'scene'. People in this forum put their lives in the hands of this equipment, and most can't beleive that people would drive around like that with all the knowledge that is out there. Nobody is talking **** about your car, you're missing the point, and obviously very angry about having your JDM-ness questioned.

But yet, you drive around like that...

Awww, you're trying to sell the car. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1688352 That's so cute.

Why don't you put the ******* stock seatbelts and airbags back in the car, so that whatever unfortunate soul buys your JDM'ed Integra won't get killed in an accident?

To the owner: The reason so many people are upset by your car is because there are so many young kids on H-T that probably totally love your car. They see how you have your **** mounted and they think it's okay. They think just because you have a mad tyte JDM front end that you know about cars... well, obviously you are an idiot and these nice citizens are just trying to point that out to you before you kill yourself and others by encouraging bad practices.

I see kids all the time driving around with unsafe cars (improperly mounted harnesses, roll bars on the street etc), and where do you think they get their ideas from? Idiots like you.

So do yourself and society a favor and put a roll bar in there.

I agree that it's funny how the OP would spend so much on wheels, front end, paint, seats etc. but no money on safety.

Funny how Jesse got all defensive. Aside from making fun of the "JDM-ness", it's his own fault for not fixing the problem, so why is he all butt-hurt? LOL...
