my frined has a 94 civic CX and his engine finally crapped out on him. he got a good deal on a used JDM HX or CX(i dont know) engine or something, but it has VTEC-E and hes wondering if theres anything he should know before dropping it in and whether his stock CX ECU will be able to work with it.

 

what kind of ecu does it have now ?

 

Just tell him to avoid the hassle and get another D15B8.
