well it depends if you want to stay legal or not, what legal limit there is in your state (i think NJ is 20% so maybe NY is too?) and the darkest (what i thought was anyways) is limo tint...

5% is the darkest. NY law says 70% which means you may as well have no tint. I run 35% and with a black interior you can't see in at night but can on a sunny day and haven't had any trouble with cops. If you don't want someone to see in then I would put 20% but you may have trouble with cops then

I got 50%, which is legal limit in Ohio... if I could do it over again I would've gotten 35 or 40 because 50 is just simply not worth it... I couldn't imagine 70 - that really would be window glass just about.

Mine with 20% Charcoal color. I have grey interior. These pictures may look inaccurate as I parked under the shade of the tree, but as you can see compared to the car next to me without tint, that is actually how dark the windows are.

35% is legal in OK, I usually do 20%, I would not want it any darker, it gets hard to see at night, but overall i like it.

In NJ, it's illegal to have tinted windows in the front and passanger seats. Oh well, did it anyways. Stupid law to me. I have 30% tint. I have gotten pulled over (ticket) once for the tints.

Here's mine:

I agree that tint in the front windows looks good, but its not a stupid law. Tell that to all the cops who got shot walking up to a car that they pulled over because they couldnt see inside. You have to look at it from both sides man.

Good post mang. I appreciate that. I will be going into a different branch of law enforcement here soon. Looking to get out of corrections.

No problem... Corrections is no joke man. My dad was in corrections before he retired. The money is great, but the stress and amount of danger on the job is too much for me. What area are you looking to get into?

I went with a 28% all-around on my 4dr EX and it looks nice (the car is black btw). I personally didn't want to go too dark all-around b/c of the ticket issue.
