Default Will larger rear rotors with stock pads/calipers help my braking??

I was on the site fastbrakes and was looking at their rear big kit. It supposedly uses the stock pads/calipers so would this even benifit me to have? I mean what good is it having a larger rotor when your pads are still the same size.

Would it be worth getting? Would it help stop my car a lot better?

If your going to change your brake, I would recommend that you change the front as it would have more braking power. If your not going to change your caliper, AEM also has a roter kit that works well with the stock caliper and brake lines. Hope this helps.

I am trying to stay away from the front upgrade b/c I still want to use my stock rims. I figured that the rear rotors wouldn't be much bigger than the stock front so that being said it should still fit in my stock wheels.

If I get the upgrade then I got to go spend more money to buy 17s that I dont want.

Agreed. You'll just lock up in the back and get squirrely.

[EDIT] or I guess since we have ABS, you'll activate ABS well before you reach maximum braking from the fronts, thus likely reducing your braking power.

Does anyone know of any good front upgrades that can be driven on 15s?

Do you really need to brake THAT well? Just get a good set of rotors and pads and you'l be set. Unless you're all about that 17" rotor in an 18" wheel look.

Well I currently have the crossed drilled/slotted brembo rotors with metalmaster pads up front. I will get the same setup for the rear once my pads are worn. I also have s/s lines. I do not think that setup will be good enough once I turbo my car and start pushing 270+ hp.

If our brakes are good enough for the much HP then why do cars with that much have a lot bigger brakes??
