silly question
i have heard from ppl in here that when adjusting fuel press you should do it
with the vacum line off.
my question is what is the purpose of the vacum line??
why must it be off when setting the pressure??
and once it is set do you put it back on???
sorry for my ignorance but i have no clue when it comes to stuff like this
thanx in advance

The vacuum line is for getting a fuel pressure w.r.t. (with respect to) manifold pressure instead of wrt outside air press.

Take the vacuum line off, and while you're adjusting the pressure make sure you block off the hose so the idle doesnt fluctuate.
manifold??
