help on installing manifold

Default help on installing manifold

i put on the manifold but throwing me code 7 and motor blowing white smoke. casue i cant remeber the water line

Code 7 is TPS, check around that area u might find a loose wire or something...

Man, don't tell him not to bump his thread, if "where to put my JDM sticker" posts are allowed in this TECH forum, a TECH problem like this should be allowed in this TECH forum. This is where he should come if he needs help with an actual tech issue.

At OP:
Well as STaNkFaNgaZ said, it's the TPS code. THe D16Z6 engines are common enough that you can probably find a friend with one, swap the TPS, unplug the backup fuse for 10 seconds, start the car back up, and see if ur still throwing the code. As for the white smoke it could be a variety of things. If a coolant hose isn't hooked up and it's spilling coolant on something hot (like the exhaust) it'll create the white smoke, of course it can be the headgasket. Something's definatley fucked up somplace that's not the mani. Did you take the head off to put on the mani?
