ITR Expo Run Groups? (Probably a question for Wes, aka White Dragon)
Now that the registration has been closed, any idea on the grouping?

Phil will take care of splitting the drivers into groups, and if after running in a group you annihilate everyone in it, or you hold a lot of people up, you will be moved accordingly.

-Dave, who just backs off those people and gives em a few minutes before driving hard again..
I think we all have to realize that:
1. This is not a race
2. Crashing your car sucks, crashing your car into someone else's is worse !
3. Drive within your ability
4. Do not be selfish. If you are holding someone up, wave them by. Don't ruin somebody else's fun.
5. Pay attention to instructors, course workers, other drivers.
If we follow the above rules, this will be a great event.

grr I hate that.. the person holding people up will just start pushing their car.. and a mistake will happen....

Something that can be done to avoid the "train" is to pull into the pits and drive straight up to the "Starter" as soon as there is a break in traffic, pull back on the track. You might loose 30 secs of track time but it is well worth it on occasion.
Agreed regarding not "pushing" the inexperianced driver. Give them room and make the pass when it safe and you are waved by.
The biggest problem I have seen at lapping Days is the "Drag race" down the straight away. There are many cars out there that will be faster in a straight line that don't handle for ****. It seems there is always someone on the track that holds everyone up in the corners and then "drag races" down the straights to keep everyone behind.
Head for the dragstrip if you want to drag race.
Driving on the track is an exercise in common-sense as well as being in control of you car and emosions at all times. It takes practice but you will only get better.
Lastly, I love taking **** as much as the next guy but when the car hits the track egos are put aside, safety for myself and others as well as common-sense takes over.

If there're lotsa traffic, I usually just pull into the pit, wait for the starter to give me a signal, then go back out. That would give me plenty of space.
