I got a 98 civic ex and my gas gauge goes down whenever I am pushing the gas all the way. I was just curious if this is normal for this model or not. For example if I have just a little less than half a tank, then press the gas all the way, it will read that I am on empty

Yea that seems normal, it happens in my buddy's coupe w/ a gsr swap quite often, especially when it reads low like that and he pulls 3rd gear hard to get on the highway or somethin. Nothin to worry about
