I got my hands on an F22b sohc vtec from an accord with 75k on it for real cheap the other day, now it needs a throttle body, injectors and rail, ecu, harness, and a tranny so I can bolt it in my new 92 Prelude SI 4ws I purchased. Can I use F22a parts? What ecu do I need? Anyone got specifics on this motor? HP? TQ? bore? Compression? Stroke? This is Iron sleeved like the F22a block correct? Thanks for the help!
Can I bolt an H22a intake manifold and throttle body up to it?

iron sleeve, 85 bore 95 stroke 8.8:1 CR and yes your f22a parts will all swap over
edit: the only thing you can bolt to a f22 head that is close to the h22 intake mani would be the h23 intake mani. physically the h23 mani bolts up but some port matching would need to be done since the h23 intake runners are opend up much larger than the f22. often f22 guys bolt on h23 intake mani and port thier f22 head in search of more power.

I've searched out in the accord forum and seen a few set ups that yeild 300hp or so on stock internals of the F-series. I wouldnt be suprised if his setup was around 250-275 with those mods.

would 250whp ++ be optimistic for a stock F22b-H22vtec hybrid boosted?

well ill give you guestmate in a week or two. I will use one of those online calculators that when given your vehicle weight and all the quater mile slip information it can give a fairly accurate whp number.

Any car is alot faster in manual. Less power loss, and much better gearing.
