Default remote start...?

I've been looking around for alarms lately because I really need one in my gsr, but my the problem I have is that I want to get a car alarm with remote start. There seems to be no one in town who will install the remote start into my car though because it's manual. So, I was wondering if anyone knows how to do it and how hard is to do because than maybe I could just install that part by myself?

I advise you not to do it. It is dangerous to do a remote start on a manual car. And the reason a shop will not do it is because they do not want to be held accountable.

I don't see what's dangerous, as long as the remote starter has a safety feature that prevents you from starting the car if it's in gear. I had one for almost 2 years and never had a problem or a sense that it's dangerous.

Nothing wrong with remote start on a mt as long as the alarm is designed to work with mt's.

Cliffords Avantguard5 is another example
