'97 Accord LX-stalled on freeway
I was going about 65 when my engine just stalled. I still had electrical, power steering, and all accessories. Engine has about 115,000 mi on it. This has happened three times now. All at different speeds, 65,30,35. The first time it happened the check engine light came on, but not the last two times. Has anyone seen this before or have any suggestion??? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanx

Safety Recall: Ignition Switch
(Supersedes 02-031, dated September 17, 2002)
BACKGROUND
Electrical contacts in the ignition switch can wear
prematurely due to high electrical current passing
through the switch. Worn out ignition contacts could
cause the engine to stall without warning. Although the
engine will restart in most cases, a vehicle that stalls
while driving increases the risk of a crash.
Dealer should fix it for free.

You don't have power steering when the engine is not running.
