Yeah, I painted the steelies midnight black last summer... otherwise they were rusty orange color

Im not crazy about the grill..but I think it looks good becuase it makes the whole front end look clean and white and no big gaps...but im gonna leave it on so it will hid my intercooler...hehehe

HAHA...tireshine? NO WAY...I used to always use it...its silicone base and is hard to get off when you paint...it also attracts dirt and flings it on your car so the next day I would have to clean it again.. I think it looks fine without it. Thanks for the comments guys....keep em coming..

not being rude... but since your car doesn't look all that great on the outside, what kind of performance mods dyou have to compensate for that? (what kind of motor w/ turbo setup?)

Your using the wrong stuff! And your doing it wrong!

Lexol Vinylex, water based. And you apply it with a foam pad and whahlah! NO flinging.

Them tires need it.

 

Yeah I used the tire shine I took from Acura when I used to work there.
Im currently building a 2.0L bottom end w/endyn pistons, eagle rods, GE sleeves, ARP hardware, B16A head, cometic head gasket, type R valve springs, tit. retainers, CTR cams, bronze valve guides, endyne valves, 3 angle valve job, P&P'ed...etc, etc...I probably missed a few things but you get the point.
As far as the turbo...T3/T04E Garrett turbo, spearco IC, HKS Racing BOV, Tial 40mm HP wastegate, Hondata, RC 550cc inj.'s, not sure which exhaust mani. yet..etc...

As far as the name B20LS-T...I was going to stay LS..but came across a good deal on a B16A head..so now I have to think of another name..but havent came up with any thing yet.

I think I have decided to ditch the grill when I get the IC on and let it all show...hehehe
Im gonna ditch the steelies too for some rota slipstreams 16"..if any one can photochop them in that would be cool.

 

The tire shine stuff that dealer uses always fly off. They look fukn shiny though.

in that case... you get the .... (even though i would stay away from the slips, but then again thats just me)

 

1st, I've never seen anyone take to much pride in those kinds of..... rims.... They look different I'll give yea that... At least they are clean!

2nd, Why a colored badge?

3rd, I like grills, just not on tegs

4th, eek! What happened under its drivers side eye?

5th, Dark turns on a white teg look dirty...

But all in all it looks pretty damn nice! I give it
I bet it would get 4-4.5 if you would show us your engine..

 

1st: Im learning how to paint..and thought I would paint my steelies so they wouldnt rust for the winter..and now I like them..and will use them at the track with slicks

2nd: yeah...im just lazy and havent got around to removing it...if it makes you have the hatch lid doesnt have one..and I took off all of the emblems too!

3rd: I will probably ditch it...that is a bad pic..but it looks better under the light

4th: I bought the car like that...when I paint the 98 rear bumper I got for free..I will buy a new front bumper($100 on ebay) and put a carbon fiber lip on it..when they come out with it.

5th: Well, I guess they are just not for you... but I think they look good..and I was going for the smoked look like on the 97? type R I think.

Otherwise, thanks for all of the comments guys..I like the wingless look too and its gonna stay that way...I dont have any extra cash anyways.
