I would just but an aftermarket navi/dvd like a pioneer or alpine they just recently put kits out for the 06 civic dashe's plus you would save money oppose to getting factory which you didn't. I think it would look just as good but it sucks because with navi i think you get the steering wheel controls.

dealers will not install the honda navi...it has to be installed at the factory, otherwise you could just buy a non navi now and buy the stock navi later...but you cant...so just go with the double din aftermarket kits and get the radio piece on ebay, looks judt as good as factory and the ones on ebay come with the wiring harness AND you can buy the harness to keep your steering wheel controls

a couple of my buddies' si's navis are abit off like 1/8 of a mile off...
i dont know if anyone's had this problem but if the navi's 1/8th off then it kinda sux as for the aftermarket navi's are precise

yes the steering wheel controls have nothing to do with the navi...they're for the stereo

you can buy a pioneer for like $800 + $100 for dash kit..
so it'll be like $1.100 installed
just be careful with the tech

If you were to buy at say Circuit City, won't thay install for free?

Maybe just wait for some used ones to show up.

i told ya buy the kit off ebay and either install it yourself or take it to the place your buying the navi and have them install it for free...i recommend buying the dash kit beforehand because i dont know if any of those places like circuit city or best buy stock them yet

The Si with nav does have the "talk" button on the steering wheel and you can control many nav functions with the steering wheel functions.

the kit you buy on ebay is supposed to come with the antenna adapter thingy......and they sell an extra piece to keep the steering controls....but i may just keep the stock radio...i like the "hey u sexy bitch" everytime i turn the car on
