swap question, couldnt find it in search

Default swap question, couldnt find it in search

hey i have a 96 civic cx hatch, with a d16y7 motor in it, im looking on getting a d16z6 head and tranny and using my y7 block still, will i need a conversion harness or anything since im going from obd2 to obd1?

Why wouldnt you look for a Y8 head, it is already OBD2 so you would have to worry about it

unfourtunetly y8's are harder to find than z6's

the tranny has nothing to do with where the head is from. go with the y8.

I actually have a z6 head and tranny!! 150 for both!!
