I just got the climate control and I am kind of worried about installing it, because I know these things break all of the time... There is no re-wire needed everything is plug and play ready. Is there a write up that anyone has on climate control removal? I checked the FAQ and there is a re-wired but not a simple removal. Lemme know Thanks!

1. Take a really fine blade or flat-head screwdiver, and pop off your hazards and defrost buttons. Back in those recesses, there are two philipshead screws.
2. Take off your kick pannel under the steering wheel, and drop the glovebox on the passenger side.
3. Remove the 12v accessory pannel (the cig lighter). There's two screws on each side, and two above the 12v socket.
4. There's then two screws under the climate control that are located under where the 12v pannel was.
After that, it'll pop right out
Just make sure you unplug all the harnesses in the back of the climate control and unhook the climate control valve wire from under the glovebox. Its the stiff metal wire that opens/closes the heater valve.
