Anyone done an auto to 5spd swap on an accord? I need help
I have a 94 accord ex auto and I have converted it to a 5spd, everything is in but I haven't started the wirring, I am in search of anyone who has completed this swap and would like to explain to me what to do for ECU, VSS and other wirring.
sooo, what did you do exactly? You rewired the whole back up light circuit and plugged in the exsisting VSS plug? and left all the other connectors hanging there? what ECU did you use? the auto one? did you modify your auto one? did you get a 5spd one, what did you do for wirring?

This site's search feature is one of the best out there. Here's some tips for future searches:
1. Try to be somewhat specific. If you just use the word "swap" for example, the search engine will return a bunch of useless (to you) threads.
2. You have the option to search in either topic titles, or the bodies of the threads themselves. Use the titles first, and if you can't find what you are looking for there, then try the body. Obviously, you can narrow down your search even more when searching through the post bodies. The downside to searching the post bodies is that, for some reason, it will not go as far back (date wise) as it will when searching topic titles.
3. Recent vs. Archived - Almost everything you will search for will be found in the archived section. The only time you should search through recent threads is if you are looking for a thread you saw within the past few days, or if you are searching the classifieds.
4. If you still can't find what you are looking for, try to think of new words to search under. A search for "auto 5spd swap" would lead to very different results than say, "automatic to manual swap". Also keep in mind that the search engine does not search for any words that are less than 3 characters long. This means that a search for "h series" will actually just search for "series".
Hope this helps in your future searches. On a side note, I've been able to find everything I've searched for. Sometimes you just have to look for a while.
