Default 1989 Prelude now H22A and Turbocharged.. In Aus

Heres my car, just thought i would post it up and show some pics and stats.. Im from Aus.. Enjoy

Im missing a red badge on the front its in the glove box which is going back on this w/e.. (back on now but dont have pic)

My front rims will be going back on 2moro with some nice new tyres.. and the exhaust is booked in for next wednesday..

Specs-
JDM H22A VTEC
Custom made equal lenght turbo manifold
CT26 Hi flowed and polished turbo
Split 3inch dump pipe
2.5inch exhaust (soon 3inch)
Turbosmart Bov
KandN airfilter both BOV and air filter are boxed
PWR oil cooler
2x Craig Davies Thermo fan (keeping heat from turbo onto radiator)
600x300x100 Hyper flow intercooler with custom made piping
Red chrome Oil catch can
Braided Oil line
Red silicon
Haltech E6-K ECU
Mugen Oil Cap
Battery to boot
Optimax Red top Battery

Interior-
Defi Style boost gauge
Apexi Boost controller
Isotta (evolution) steering wheel
Type R seat belt pads
TV/dvd head deck plus remote

I dont know what to expect with it gets tuned with the new exhaust but that and the new tyres plus my new suspension.. all i can say is she will be quick..

I havent taken the car past 5.5rpm yet not until i get the exhaust
Vtec kicks in at 4.5
Turbo has great spool and is very responsive

Cool.

I had an '88 Prelude 4WS and it was a pain to work on. It must be even worse with that big H22 sitting in there.

Do you have any ground clearance problems with the oil pain? How does it handle?

CT26.. that's from the old Supra. How does it hold up?

That is one clean looking paint job.. I love it. The car looks great.

Clean, great looking car. The engine bay is really sanitary. Never seen that particular ex. header before, it is really steroidal. I really like it! Great work on putting it together. How much boost/whp do you plan on running?

no not at all. place racing used to make mounts for these cars, but you know how well place's stuff fits(it doesnt)

My first car was a 88prelude si i love it, handled great ,it was Auto, before i knew any better i paid 2k to convert it to standard ,Yikes, If i new what i know now i woulda kept it insteadd of the delSlow and H22d the snot out of it, but anyways Really nice Job

Yeah i had 2 put the stock springs back in the front until i sort of that problem. ive got coilovers coming soon..

Its actually from the GT4 celica its great been rebuilt and hi flowed.. and comes on full boost around 3000rpm..

The header was custom made not many off the shelf ones here unless want the log style.. Its just running stock boost off the turbo for now until i open up the engine because its still on stock internals..

Nope, i needed custom made engine brackets custom made driveshafts and axles..

Im running stock boost.. which is about 0.7 0.8bar of boost..
