Default h22 eg 1/4 et.'s

i recently swapped a jdm h22a into my eg hatch, and took it to the track. It is basically stock, i have the jdm lsd tranny, a short ram intake, 8lb. flywheel and six puck clutch, also have no cat, and greddy catback.
R/T .101
60' 2.399
330 6.236
1/8 9.379
MPH 78.51
1000 12.095
1/4 14.396
MPH 98.12

I'm wondering if this is a decent time, what i should be running, any comments or suggestions please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ? ?

you need to learn to launch the car smoother... that car will be in the 13's with a better 60....

yea 14.0-14.3 on street tires

get some drag radials and you will drop in the 13s no prob

if u take ur 60 fts to like 2.0's - 2.1's, u got 13s with street tires, with drag radials should be around 13-4 to 13-6

I bet that light *** flywheel is skrewing you. If the flywheel is too light than you lose to much tourque. You should be pulling at least 99-100 with an h22 in a hatch. My buddys pulled 99 with intake and exhaust in ex 4door!!

yea i'm not sure whether or not it did anything, because i put the flywheel on before the motor ever saw the car. all i know is that it revs faster than my b16 with a lightened flywheel

That is an absolutely false statement.

The time seems about right to me. Some sticky tires and seat time will do wonders.

Ok, Its a false statement?? You take a fairly stock moter in a car, run it, than put an 8lb flywheel on there and run it again!! I have seen this problem alot!!

What "problem"? Do you honestly think a different flywheel will have any effect on horsepower/torque output? Come on.

A lighter flywheel will only make the car accelerate faster (though it will make launching more tricky and quick shifting more essential).

I picked up 3 tenths in the 1/8 on a H23 with just a light flywheel.

i have heard there are two different h22a's, one being 200hp, and the other being 220hp? I believe my motor is 200hp

Also, has anyone with a h22 eg ever ran at the track without the balance shaft belt on? i was reading in the prelude threads and a couple people said you can free up some power by removing the balance shaft belt. just wondering if there is any truth to that?!
