Hey, I'm new here. I'm just starting out, and I have a question. I have a 98 civic hx coupe, and was just wondering if the intake manifold on my motor (d16y5) is the same as the EX (d16y8)? If not, what is different about them and can I put the d16y8 one on mine if needed?

They have different part numbers. Here's the D16Y8:

This is the D16Y5:

They're interchangeable. You could even put a D16Z6 intake manifold on if you want.
