oK lets see... i need to know as much info on this motor as possible. like what year Honda it came out of obviosly its a JDM motor and a 1.3L, im working on this coupe with this swap, its an older lady she had a shop swap it in about 5 years ago but i honestly know nothing about this motor what specs should i go off of? thanxz.. Laterz.

um....i'm pretty sure there is no D13 motor.

i know there's a D14, but i've never heard of a D13...

 

YES there is cus i seen it in the car myself it was stamped D13B so ya i need to find out the specs and if i could us say USDM D15B timing belts and the specs to adjust the valves. i just wanna be on the safe side i dont want any reprocutions

 

i believe the d13b came from the DX HB (92-95?) in europe. and the d13a came from the 87 crx's in the US.

the d13a is carburated i believe.
and the d13b has like 75hp or something.

i've seen japanese hatches with 1.3l motors on importer's websites. JD Mversion of the VX but to a new extreme?

 

so it was probably carburated but when i looked it was fuel injected...? so they probably swaped over the parts Damn im kinda confused i need a website or something can you guys help me out?

 

no the d13a was carb'd (usdm), the d13b was fuel injected but not JDM. its EDM, as far as i know there was no JDM d13b, only EDM.

 

so...what whats the year of the edm d13b...?

im pretty sure it was 92-95. from the DX of those years.

...? How will pics Help? it looks like a D15B thats what i thought it was at first cuz it was all greasey i cleaned it with brake clean it said D13B i was like WTF...?

 

if tis a d13 b then it wont loolklike the d15b vtec. so please provide pics.

i doubt anybody knows specs here since your probably one of the first to have it. (dunno why anyone would swap in that motor, let alone have it shipped from the UK)

its not for me, its for a lady i just met her she is like 50 and had the motor swapped in like 5 years ago she said

23U EF1 1343cc D13B 16v 82hp single carb

33U EF1 1343cc D13B 16v 82hp single carb

...not the deck hight is way different youll not be able to use a timing belt from a D15B
